Harvest the North in Bancroft Ontario again celebrated our community gardens by hosting a scarecrow building event and is featuring scarecrows in Riverside Park and in our business district.

The Scarecrow Building Event on Sat. Sept. 24 at Riverside Park produced some amazing creations which are ready for visitors to enjoy as part of the Scarecrow Tour

The rest of the self-guided Scarecrow Tour, created by local businesses, follows along Hastings St. N. and Sherbourne St. N. in Bancroft from Sept. 24 to Oct. 10.

To enjoy the Scarecrow Tour, the public is invited to visit Riverside Park and explore our main streets.

Street tour: Follow Sherbourne St. N to Hastings St. N, turn left and head north.

Connected to the Scarecrow Challenge celebrating food independence, we operate a food share program and Harvest the North creates and supports community gardens in the growing season.
