À propos
We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather and dance is the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and the QayQayt First Nation Nations.

Season Finale
We want to say, THANK YOU for all the support you have shown to us throughout our 2020 VIDANSE. These are difficult and stressful times, and we created 2020 VIDANSE for you to enjoy.
We would like to end our 2020 Virtual Dance Season with dances from Jalisco. We will be dedicating this performance to the celebrations of the 210th anniversary of the Mexican Independence Day, on September 16th.
About the State of Jalisco:
Known internationally for its Mariachi, tequila and dances. The state of Jalisco dances require strong skills of "zapateado" and skirt twiling. The costumes are the representation of a mestizo Mexico and the "Sones" and "Jarabes" melodies talk about love stories.
Stay safe, keep on dancing and until next time.
GRACIAS.
