Directions: Follow King St. to the Brockville Cenotaph at Court House Avenue. Turn north there (simply put, away from the River and uphill). The street leads to the Court House.

It may be one of the shortest walking tours in the country! Three short blocks, a very small investment in shoe leather, but paying huge dividends in history, famous personages, a wonderful array of architecture and absolutely gorgeous scenery. Quoting from the tour, "You have wandered down the gentle slope of Brockville’s Courthouse Avenue, no doubt impressed by how much Canadian history can reside on one short block of a small city in Eastern Ontario".
Follow the directions in the tour proper and enjoy yourself. Absorbing history was never so much fun!
