Madhubani painting has its origins in the North Indian region of Bihar. This art form is one of the oldest and is most famous for its tribal motifs and use of bright colours. Traditionally the women of the village drew these paintings on the walls of their dwelling to celebrate special events and festivals. These paintings commonly include geometrical patterns, floral, animal, and bird motifs. Work with artist Aparna Rangnekar to create your own Madhubani inspired bird.
