Contest will take place Friday, October 7, 2022. Take a tour to view everyone's creations over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend!

Participants must pre-register by Monday, October 3th to be included in the Contest and Scarecrow Tour Map. Registration Forms available at Town Office & Bits ‘n Pieces, or email [email protected] for a copy. All Scarecrows must be up by October 6th and must be taken down by Tuesday, October 11th.

Contest is open to all ages, businesses and organizations. Out-of-Town participants should call/text Koral at 306-292-8901 to book their spot in Town – limited spaces available!

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

1. Best Dressed Business/ Organization (1 prize)

2. Household Entries (3 prizes)

3. Kids’ (12 & Under) (3 prizes)

NEW THIS YEAR! Kids’ Vegetable Creation Contest

Bring your Vegetable Creation down to the POP Pocket Park (beside the Town Office) right after school. One prize will be awarded for the Most Creative Creation – judging will take place at 4p.m.

Town of Porcupine Plain & Porcupine Opportunities Program

The Porcupine Opportunities Program is a community based and governed organization dedicated to optimizing quality of life for persons experiencing disability. The agency provides residential, vocational, and employment supports and services to an average of 35 individuals in Porcupine Plain & Hudson Bay. The Town of Porcupine works closely with community organizations, including the POP, to offer stimulating recreational events and activities for residents of all ages and abilities.
