Friends of Dalnavert Museum
Built in 1895, The Dalnavert Museum is a small Victorian Mansion nestled in the heart of Winnipeg’s Downtown on Treaty 1 land. This unique museum features a “day in the life” feel as it transports you back in time to the 19th century the second you step inside.
Cultural Teachings and Activities with Elders will continue throughout 2020/21.
The Friends of Dalnavert Museum are committed to:
Preserving and maintaining the museum's buildings, grounds, and collection
Presenting engaging programs and exhibits that interpret the history of the house, and Winnipeg's early heritage for visitors
Developing partnerships and programming that will make Dalnavert a cultural centre for city residents
