À propos

Dark Earth Unicorn, presented by FASTWÜRMS, is a talk about deep soil intimacy, enhancing personal and social well being with the microbiome (Dirt XTC), and understanding the existential importance of the rhizosphere to all life on Earth. Dark Earth Unicorn is also a workshop about simple methods of making bio-char with pyrolysis, cost effective techniques for making aerobic compost/worm tea, and an introduction to high fertility (C.E.C.) fabric container growing.

Recipients of the 2023 Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts, FASTWÜRMS is

the cultural project, trademark, and shared authorship of Kim Kozzi and Dai Skuse, who create

poly-disciplinary works of art that mix performance and performative events into the context of immersive installations, collective making and social exchange project. FASTWÜRMS are represented by Paul Petro Contemporary Art, Toronto.

This unique blend of lecture AND workshop will be in-person at Abraham Erb Grist Mill in Waterloo Park, rain or shine!
