À propos
In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we are Running with Purpose.
Join us in partnership with the Kortright Centre and in support of Anduhyaun Inc. as we honour the Day for Truth and Reconciliation with a community trail walk and run event. Together, we will respect and connect to the land, connect with one another and raise money for an important cause. Registered participants will be welcomed by an Indigenous community educator prior to heading into the trails to complete as many loops of the well marked 5km trail route in the two hour window. The trail run/walk will be followed by refreshments and draw prizes. There will also be local vendors and onsite yoga by Trail Yogi. Registration is a must. All are welcome.
Your registration helps cover event costs, but donations go directly to supporting Anduhyaun’s vital work providing shelter and support for Indigenous women and children. Any amount is appreciated and makes a meaningful difference.

Organisateur
Ruchi Patel, One Academy and Trail Yogi-Kevin Ong
Ruchi Patel is an educator who runs, lifts and brings people together through her passion for community connection with group runs and charity work. Since its inception, Ruchi has dedicated countless hours as the race director and primary organizer of Running With Purpose.
One Academy is more than a gym - it's a community with the purpose of filling hearts with hope, bodies with strength, and minds with confidence. They do this by fostering relationships through special events, collective goals, and shared experiences.
Their sense of community goes beyond gym walls as they constantly work to give back to the neighbourhoods they serve, raising funds for Nellie's Shelter for Women & Children, The 519, Kids Up Front, and Anduhyaun.
In its third year, Kevin joined forces with Ruchi to help co-direct and grow the fundraising event. He brings with him years of trail running and leadership experience organizing weekend trail runs and runner friendly mobility sessions. Helping to build bridges between running and yoga communities one step and breath at a time, he is the founder of Trail Yogi.
Together, amongst other contributing partners, we are excited to organize the 4th annual charity run/walk for Anduhyaun Inc. at the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan.
