À propos
Everyone has a Place In History, not just those who make the news. Come in and see how we are working to preserve Aldergrove's Place In History as well as learn how to research and document your own family's Place In History (or your community group, business, school, etc).
Organisateur
Alder Grove Heritage Society
The purpose of the Alder Grove Heritage Society is:
- To maintain and operate a community museum, archives, and Heritage House based on a collection policy reflecting the history and development of the Aldergrove region; including collecting, exhibition and conservation of artifacts, archives, heritage buildings and sites.
- To work towards a public awareness of the history and development of the Aldergrove area.
- To establish and maintain suitable quarters for the Society and the Museum's collections.
The Aldergrove Community Museum & Archives is open to the public from 12-4 on Sundays, as well as for special events such as Community Heritage Day, to name but one. The museum usually closes from the third Sunday in December until the second Sunday in January to give our volunteers a break for the holidays.
