About the program:
The world we live in has enough to sustain us, but how do we use these environmental resources while encouraging preservation and regrowth? Mohawk chef Tamara Green of Indigenesis walks us through responsible foraging practices with two cooking videos entitled, “Pruning Nature.” For the Ontario Culture Days festival, she will host a guided walk with forager Bryan Dowkes. Participants will also be able to sample pre-made food made by Tamara using foraged ingredients at the program. Visit our website to learn more about spotting plants, and how to safely harvest and create meals with them.
