In the spirit of community collaboration and celebration of Calgary's cultures, this free event is open to everyone. This Culture Day event relies on public participation alongside a diverse group of multicultural musicians and artists invited to play a variety of drums and percussion instruments in an open drum circle.

This event takes place outdoors and signage will be available at the event reminding of public safety measures for those who wish to follow them, such as voluntary mask wearing, keeping distance, avoiding high-touch surfaces, and washing hands.

City of Calgary's Festivals and Events team support Culture Days annually. This year, The City has worked with partners to support three Culture Days events. In addition to these three events, The City supports many other events and activities, planned by community organizations, event planners and cultural groups to showcase culture in our city in September.
