This workshop presents the aesthetic and functional considerations used in a modern creative venue - the virtual building community of Minecraft. Using a project screen, Kaleb with tour participants through several extensive designs that include gardens, courtyards, parks, and castles. After explaining the design considerations of each build, participants will be invited to site down with paper and pencil to draft their own design strategy. Finally, using 3 workstations, or with their own laptop, participants can start creating their own online world.
