À propos
The Community Feast - an afternoon of prayers, teachings, a shared meal, and a walk in honour of the Elders of Nekaneet First Nation. Those that gather will bring their favourite dish or food to honour their past loved ones, all will sit on blankets or lawn chairs, they will bring a feast bag (containers to receive food and utensils to eat), the men of Nekaneet First Nation will serve the offerings after prayers of the Elders are spoken. Those attending are asked to wear their orange shirts, ribbon skirts or long dress.
