This workshop engages participants in creating layered paper art that celebrates the foods central to their cultural identities, aligning with the "The Colors of My Culture" theme. Using colored papers, cutting tools, adhesives, and dimensional techniques, attendees will craft intricate, multi-layered compositions depicting traditional dishes, ingredients, or meals that hold personal or familial significance.

The City of Brampton held an open call for proposals seeking program leaders working in all art forms to deliver community engaged arts programming during Culture Days. This open call invited expressions of interest from artists and arts leaders with a project budget of up to $4,000. Happy Hands Pottery & Art Studio was one of the successful applicants and the Cultural Services Division at the City of Brampton is proud to support this workshop.
