Nickel Brook is Burlington’s only craft brewery. Founded in 2005, it’s grown to be one of the leading players in the Ontario craft beer industry.

Doors Open Burlington takes place on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit heritage sites, noteworthy buildings, and interesting locations - free of charge. Many of these buildings and locations will offer special activities during the day. For Burlington, Doors Open provides a unique opportunity to view the city from a new perspective and celebrate the cultural importance of the sites to the community. Other sites include: Archaeological Services Inc. (ASI), Burlington Camera, Burlington Public Library - Central Branch, Burlington Radio Control Modelers, Église Saint-Philippe, Freeman Station, Halton Mosque, Joseph Brant Museum, NUVO Network, Royal Botanical Gardens, Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant, and St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
