Ecstatic dance is a free flowing movement meditation, where one has the opportunity to connect with themselves, community and spirit, with intention. The steps of the feet are unbound, without needing to follow instructions from a leader. In ecstatic dance, the music is the leader and the people choose how to flow and weave through the sound.

Breathwork is a re-surfacing practice that uses the power of deliberate breathing techniques to quiet the mind and/or access parts of sub/unconscious mind. By consciously engaging in these techniques, we reset the body's equilibrium, strengthen the diaphragm, and open to our inner wisdom, among many other benefits. Dauphin Culture Days is put on each year by the creative folks at the Watson Art Centre, the Dauphin Public Library, the Dauphin Art Group, Countryfest Community Cinema, and just about any other creative person or group we can cajole into playing along with us. We know that creativity is at the heart of humans of all ages and our goal is to get our town to create, participate, and share.
