À propos
Pressed & Expressed is a sensory art experience about what it feels like to be shaped, squeezed, or told to “fit in”—and how we can take that pressure and turn it into something bold and beautiful. We use layered printing techniques, textures, and movement to play with the idea of being “pressed into society,” then flip it. Each mark becomes a response. Each design is someone saying, "This is me."
This workshop is for anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood, boxed in, or silenced. It’s a space to explore, connect, and create freely—with no rules, no wrong way, and no need to explain. Expect colour, hands-on creating, and a space where all abilities and identities are welcome. Art that speaks when words are hard—that’s what this is all about.
Aiden Lee is an autistic artist who makes art you can feel. His work is all about textures, layers, and movement—things that help me express what words sometimes can’t. He likes using things like plastic sheets, paint, fabric, and sound to create art that’s messy, real, and full of feeling. A lot of his art is about not fitting into the box people expect. It’s about being different, and turning that into something powerful. He uses reverse printing and layered designs to explore how pressure—both physical and emotional—shapes us.
Aiden works with people of all abilities and create spaces where everyone can make art their own way. Whether it’s with the Super Ability Crew, walking canvases, or workshops, he focuses on connection. Aiden believes art is for everybody. Not perfect—just honest.
