À propos

Step into the past at the historic Clarke Schoolhouse! Costumed interpreters will be on-hand to assist you with carding wool, grinding grain, and making your own hand-dipped candles. Or try a class in our one-room school and play pioneer games such as stilts and tug o' war. There will be crafts, treats, and fun for the whole family at this free drop-in event.

Organisateur

Clarington Museums and Archives

The Clarington Museums and Archives has three facilities: the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre and Waverley Place historic home in Bowmanville and the Clarke Schoolhouse in Kirby. We maintain these historic sites, an artifact collection and an archive to preserve and interpret the history of Clarington to our community. We also have year-round events to educate and entertain both young and old.
