Interactive Mosaic Blanket

Learn basic knitting skills to make a small knitted square or rectangle patch that will be pieced together to make a beautiful mosaic blanket. The final project will be donated to a family in need. Each participant will be given a different color wool and necessary tools to knit the patches. The instructor will teach each person basic skills how to cast on create rows and cast off each square. The participant will learn over all knitting skills that you may try at home.

We will be observing Covid-19 protocols with 5ppl people at one time in a adequately spaced room. Masks mandatory. All area will be sanitized between workshops and screening process on arrival.

Start Me Up Niagara & Tanya Jackson

Tanya Jackson began her knitting business in 2012 called Cronic Knitter Design. She is a graduate of Niagara College with a diploma in Creative Arts & Design. It was in high school that she began her creative endeavors with the art club doing murals on the school walls and that led to entering and winning top honors at a county fair.

Tanya runs a knitting guild (Stick'n Needle Guild) and helps with their social media. Additionally Tanya runs a knitting & crochet group at her church to help members learn to knit. She recently relaunched her business with a new name, Miss Tan's Creations as she has expanded to beyond knitting with her art and design.
