À propos

Hey everyone, there's something we've been keeping 'Under Wraps' and we can't wait to reveal the newest project from the Halton Hills Public Art Program!

Under Wraps is a public art project that re-imagines existing Town infrastructure (utility boxes) as canvases to enliven the streetscape and feature the work of local professional artists on vinyl wraps. The wraps will be installed in September, making Culture Days the perfect opportunity to engage the public in discovering all nine boxes that will be unveiled across Halton Hills including Acton, Glen Williams, Georgetown.

This digital campaign is intended to put a playful spin on wrapping and unwrapping. We are encouraging YOU to engage with everyday objects in unconventional ways by literally wrapping objects with a bit of creative flair. We would love for you to participate!

Are you up for the challenge?

Share before & after photos of your wrapped item to your social media & use the following hashtags: #hhCultureDays #hhPublicArt

Here are some additional suggestions...

o Give us a clear view of your wrapped object – it can be very obvious what the wrapped object is, it could be wrapped in a funny way, or it could be related specifically to arts and culture, anything goes!

o You might share a video and talk about the object you wrapped, and how you did it, or ask the viewers to guess what you’ve wrapped in the comments under the social media post.
