Stop by our booth we will have a variety of Middle Eastern culinary treats, as well as experienced cooks to explain how to make them for yourself.

Refugees for Brockville initiated in the Fall of 2015 is part of the national and international effort to relocate and settle more than five million Syrian refugees.

We are a municipally-backed, community-based umbrella organization that supports Brockville refugee sponsorship groups that are working to welcome, settle and integrate newcomers. These newcomers have added to added to our culinary experience by setting up booths in the Farmers Market, making it an international culinary venue. Musicians have shared their music and traditions. In a great variety of small ways they have enriched our city's culture.

Refugees for Brockville was initiated in the Fall of 2015 by City of Brockville Mayor, David L. Henderson. Through the formation of Refugees for Brockville, the City became part of the national and international effort to relocate and settle more than five million Syrian refugees.

Refugees for Brockville is a municipally-backed, community-based umbrella organization that supports Brockville refugee sponsorship groups that are working to welcome, settle and integrate newcomers. Primary functions of Refugees for Brockville are to provide funds and support to refugee sponsorship groups that enhance their ability to support newcomers.

Refugees for Brockville has welcomed over 60 refugee newcomers to Brockville. The City of Brockville has become internationally recognized as a welcoming city for refugees and other countries look to follow our example.
