Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum invites you to join Mark Zelinski for a presentation on his 10th photography book "Niagara Escarpment: Land Between Waters", published in 2026. Featuring 600 images of the Niagara Escarpment, Zelinski has documented the unique landscape, wildlife, and beauty of the region with supported personal accounts provided by conservationists and Indigenous scholars. This multi-faceted literary experience takes readers on a visual journey through the escarpment as a living landscape and natural wonder.

Chapter writers include Liette Vasseur PhD, UNESCO Chair On Community Sustainability and IUCN Chair of Ecosystem Management, Tim Johnson (Mohawk), former Associate Director for Museum Programs at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, Edward McDonnell, CEO Ontario Greenbelt Foundation, Anisihinaabe Historian Alan Ojiig Corbiere, Michael MacDonald, CEO Bruce Trail Conservancy, Dr David Galbraith, Head Of Science RBG, Margaret Sault, Chief, Mississaugas Of The Credit FN.

This Culture Days, immerse yourself in the environmental culture and beaty that thrives throughout Niagara. This presentation with feature Zelinski as well as other chapter contributors as they share their experience researching and documenting the living escarpment through photography.

The event is offered free of cost for attendees.
