As part of Alberta Culture Days 2021 The Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek & The Pincher Creek Municipal Library will be sharing the creative perspectives of the younger generation of our community with an online and in person event: Illustrating Our Culture- Through Our Children’s Eyes.
We invite children and youth to creatively share their family traditions, cultural values and stories creatively in any medium they choose. (Visual Art, digital art, video, audio, literary works and other forms of storytelling are all examples of possible submissions). Submissions due September 11th.
All physical artwork will be displayed at the Pincher Creek Municipal Library for a special exhibit on September 23rd and 24th. Submissions will also be digitally displayed online at www.thelebel.ca and remain online year round.
Illustrating Our Culture- Through Our Children’s Eyes is part of the celebrations occurring throughout the province during Alberta Culture Days 2021. Alberta Culture Days, September 1st- 30th, is about discovering, experiencing and celebrating our unique blend of peoples and passions, and the importance of culture to a healthy and vibrant province.

Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek
The Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek is a non-profit organization which makes its home in the historic Lebel Mansion built in 1910.
With the mission of Cultivating Creativity, The Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek has a public gallery space which hosts six exhibitions each year, a gift shop representing artists and makers from across the region as well as offering a wide array of arts programming for kids and adults from our arts classrooms and ceramic studio.
