About Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House

Dedicated to Indigenous cultural practices, Totest Aleng is a studio where artists in residence work and host public programs. The open-air pavilion is where Indigenous-led workshops, events and school programs take place. As an active Indigenous art studio, the space is only open to the general public on select dates. The White Rock & South Surrey Culture Crawl is a great opportunity to see inside and experience the space.

Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House

When using the Learning House, Indigenous practitioners have access to our resources. We welcome all proposed Indigenous uses of the space. Run a workshop, share your knowledge or anything else that supports your cultural practice. Artists in residence also have access to the studio and the pavilion for community engagement.

As an active Indigenous art studio, the space is only open to the general public on select dates. When it is, it is a place for cultural exchange and connection to the land. Check our events page for upcoming open houses, markets, workshops and school programs.
