À propos

We shall open our museum for free admission and free refreshments on Saturday, October 7th. There will be a challenge, with prizes, to identify mystery objects displayed in the museum.

Visitors will be invited to bring in their own belongings and our panel of experts will tell them about their antiques, giving them historical significance and a valuation where possible.

Organisateur

Princeton Museum

Our museum is dedicated to tell the geological and human history of the Similkameen and Tulameen Valleys, centered around the Town of Princeton and nearby indigenous communities. We collect and preserve artifacts and belongings and photographic, print, audio and video records pertaining to the area. Currently, we are digitizing our entire collection in anticipation of expanding our online presence.

The object of this event is to raise our profile amongst newer community members and make them aware of the importance of preserving objects from the past which are now often obsolete.
