Practice English, meet new friends, and learn more about life and culture in Canada. Challenge yourself to build your speaking confidence!

Staff will lead small group discussions to help you build your vocabulary, improve your confidence, and practice your conversation skills. This is a registered program.

Barrie Public Library is a proud supporter of the arts and culture community in Barrie; we provide informational, recreational and cultural resources for all ages including books, magazines, DVDs, electronic books, downloadable audiobooks, downloadable magazines and movies, and internet access. We offer a variety of programs for children and teens including children's storytime programs. In addition, we offer adult programs such as workshops to introduce specialized online resources, as well as information sessions on many topics from health to travel and business.
