We are excited to announce our first Pop-up Art Sale at our main gallery space. Please join us for a celebration of art and community, taking place from October 4th to 6th at the VIVA Alliance main gallery in Vancouver. This three-day event offers visitors an engaging experience with a diverse selection of artworks on display, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and more. Come in to discover unique pieces by talented local artists and socialize with fellow art lovers.

For Culture Days participants, entry will be free! Please register by using the RSVP tool provided.

What to Expect:

Local Artists: Explore a diverse selection of artwork by talented artists within our community, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and crafts.

Community Connection: Meet the artists, learn about their creative practices, connect with fellow art enthusiasts, and be part of a vibrant community gathering.

Support Local Art: Any purchase you make will directly support local artists.

For Artists:

If you are an artist interested in exhibiting your work for sale, please contact VIVA Alliance at [email protected] or via Instagram at @viva.alliance and we will send you all the information you need, including the participation criteria.

Please review the information listed below before submitting your inquiry.

Display Space: Each artist will have their own 8x12-foot wall section to display their work.

Fee: A fee of $350 covers the cost of displaying your work over the three days of the event.

Commission: VIVA Alliance does not take a commission on sold artworks.

Special Requirements: If you are showcasing sculptures, installations, or other pieces requiring specific arrangements, please discuss these details well in advance to ensure feasibility and availability of necessary resources.

Capacity: The maximum number of participating artists is 12–14. This will enable us to ensure proper care and professional visual presentation of all artworks.

VIVA Alliance

VIVA (Vancouver’s Iranian Visual Arts) Alliance is non-profit organization

operating from the traditional, ancestral, and the unceded territory of the

xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwxw̱ ú7mesh (Squamish), and səlíI lwətaɬ

(Tsleil- Waututh) Nations. This organization is comprised of a creative group

of art professionals and academics dedicated to increasing opportunity and

visibility for Iranian-Canadian artists through curatorial services and support.

VIVA is committed to facilitating a meaningful and inclusive inter-cultural

dialogue among artists and diverse communities, especially other BIPOC Arts

leaders and change makers, collectively contributing to the cultural

enrichment of our society. At core, VIVA’s values are equitable

representation, cultural exchange, and accessible artistic dialogue.
