À propos

Sigvaldason Fine Art presents works by Canadian Inuit artists.

There will be over 200 original Inuit works on display from a variety of different decades and locations. A special interpretative explanation will be given during Nuit Blanche about particular pieces, their origin, who made them and when and how values are determined. The works on display are from the 1960’s all the way to present day. Stop in and find out why Inuit and their art are worth celebrating!

Sigvaldason Fine Art

Sigvaldason Fine Art Inc. (SFA) was established in 2023 in Gimli, Manitoba, and is located at 70 Centre St. The gallery is located directly down the street from the Gimli Harbour, and directly across from the Manitoba Liquor Mart. The gallery specializes in Historical and Contemporary Canadian Art. The town of Gimli is one of Manitoba’s busiest tourist communities in the summer, hosting a number of world class events and attractions including “Islendingadagurinn” the Icelandic Festival of Manitoba, first held in 1890 and the Gimli International Film Festival to name just a couple.

Nolan Sigvaldason is the President of Sigvaldason Fine Art. He has been privately helping collectors, businesses and corporations add works of art to their collections since 2010. In 2012, Nolan worked at the International Art Fair in Toronto (now Art Toronto), selling a number of high end artworks to collectors for Pegasus Gallery of Canadian Art. In 2013, he opened his first fine art gallery in Arborg, Manitoba. Then in 2014 he held his first Live Art Auction at The Winnipeg Winter Club with host Big Daddy Tazz. Since then, he has held many events and art auctions and has sold art to countries around the world.
