About
The Guilds of Arts Burlington welcome everyone to their free open studios event, with hands-on children’s and adult’s crafts. The guild members will be showing the works of different artists from across multiple mediums and techniques. Exploration stations are planned in each of our six studios for you to Make & Take* your creations, including:
BSCG - Sculptors and Wood carvers – painting animal wood cuts
BHSG -Weavers & Spinners – weaving on a portable loom. *There will be no taking of what is made.
BHCG - Hooking Craft – try your hand at rug hooking for children and adults
LATOW - Photographers – darkroom photograms and a photo booth for children and adults.
BFAA - Fine Arts – painting demonstration and drawing sessions for children and adults.
BPG - Potters - demonstrations of hand building and making bowls on the potter’s wheel. *Owing to health and safety concerns unfired clay can’t be taken away.
What to know about the afternoon?
This free event is a drop-in style.
