À propos

Ever wondered how metal objects are made? Learn the green sand molding method, a fascinating traditional technique used in metal casting. Warren and Andrea Manthorne of Ferrous Foundry will share a small pattern and some of the unique tools used to prepare it for casting. Some of the works they have cast in bronze or aluminum include street signs, plaques, and bronze sculptures of varying sizes, including Captain Angus Walters and Viola Desmond (artist Chippie Kennedy). Perfect for curious minds of all ages—explore how sand can shape metal!
