Art Downtown is a 3-month outdoor summer initiative to connect, inspire, and educate communities.
Artists exhibit their art and paint live in an outdoor space, with live music, in partnership with the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association and Hudson Pacific Properties.
We cultivate a positive and supportive environment that encourages artists and the public to express themselves unconditionally, through public exhibitions, live painting demonstrations, and live music 2 days per week in the heart of downtown Vancouver in two locations, Jack Poole Plaza, Wednesday and Friday from 11 AM till 5 PM.
VVAF recognizes the myriad of challenges faced by the Indigenous, LGBTQ, and other underserved, marginalized communities. Through our commitment to supporting these communities, all the Foundation's initiatives include
outreach to the industry-related organizations and their community members to provide awareness of upcoming initiatives while also offering free participation.
The public must stay a safe distance from other people while attending the art fair, Jack Poole Plaza is a large area, masks are optional and there is hand sanitizer is onsite.
