VISUAL ARTS | COMMUNITY MURAL

MURAL 1 | SHIPMAN'S PAINT BY NUMBERS

Location: 200 St. Paul Street (St. Paul at James Street)

Artist: Mathew Vizbulis, presented in partnership with the St. Catharines Downtown Association

Join local artist Mathew Vizbulis to create a collaborative community mural that commemorates historic ships that navigated the waters of the first and second canal that flowed behind St. Paul Street. Contribute to the mural and collaborate with the artist while each mural is in progress and add your mark to the overall pieces.

Although this activity is outdoors, masks are required for ages 6+

The St. Catharines Downtown Association (SCDA) is a non-profit organization that represents approximately 500 members including commercial property owners, retailers, restaurants and professional offices in the designated BIA.

The mandate of the St. Catharines Downtown Association includes participating in programs aimed at the physical improvement and beautification of the core, as well as the promotion of the Downtown as a great place in which to shop, work, dine, play, meet, live and explore.

Artist Matt Visbulis is known for his colourful artwork primarily abstract paintings.
