Celebrate Culture Days with the Vancouver Inter-Culutural Orchestra.
What does the word “intercultural” really mean? VICO musicians and composers come from widely differing backgrounds. We have different frameworks for thinking about music. We often speak different languages — both literally and artistically. How do we work together to weave these separate threads into a new and brilliant sonic tapestry? Join us as we share a behind-the-scenes look at creating and performing intercultural music.
Free of charge. Everyone is welcome. No registration required. First come, first serve!
