Can you identify “mystery” objects in the Museum’s collection? Come out and try your hand at guessing ‘what is this artifact’. Learn about early settler and Victorian history and the tools and instruments that were used in day to day life.

Scugog Shores Museum

The Scugog Shores Museum Village shows what daily life was like in Scugog from the mid to late 1800s. We preserve, research, interpret and exhibit artifacts related to the cultural and natural history of the Township of Scugog area. The Village includes:

11 restored buildings

Heritage flower, herb and vegetable gardens

Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands

Scugog Arts

Established in 2005, the Scugog Arts is a not-for-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors and is dedicated to providing a strong voice for arts and culture in Scugog Township and to promoting and growing the arts in all areas of the community. Scugog Arts members include individuals, businesses and organizations that participate in or support a vibrant local cultural scene, which includes theatre, music, dance, visual and graphic art, craft, literary arts, and arts education.
