The Great Big Open Orchestra

Meridian Arts Centre (formerly Toronto Centre for the Arts)

5040 Yonge St.

Toronto, ON

Dust off your trumpet, dig out your clarinet, and join Maestro Michael Newnham and members of Orchestra Toronto for an Open Orchestra. If you play a symphonic instrument, at any level, we're excited to invite you to an open rehearsal of great orchestral music. We'll provide the scores, you provide the playing, and together we'll make a joyful noise. Registration is FREE, but please register in advance so that we know how many copies of each part we need.

This event is free.

Orchestra Toronto

Orchestra Toronto is an orchestra created by passionate musicians within the community, for the community. We offer the enjoyment of music, foster education and music appreciation and support emerging Canadian talent. Our organization of volunteers is committed to making symphonic music accessible to a broad and diverse public beyond the concert hall. We rehearse together and perform five concerts between September and June, in the George Weston Recital Hall.
