ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED. - FULLY PRE-BOOKED!

Limited to 8 participants pre-registered per session. 2 additional spaces per session will be available first come/first served at the venue on event day.

Learn the basics of lino-cut printmaking and carve a one-of-a-kind relief block (stamp) to take home. Participants will be encouraged to create a work of art that represents their unique self through a step-by-step workshop held in Gasoline Alley, Fort Langley. Each person will get to try printing on paper (to take home) as well as on fabric (to be kept by artist). All the fabric squares created on this day by participants of this workshop and Put Your Stamp on It! will be sewn together to create a quilt celebrating the diverse cultural heritage of the surrounding area through a mosaic scene of the iconic Fraser River. The finished community quilt will be displayed in Fort Langley (location in Fort Langley, T.B.D.).

The tools, ink and paper have kindly been provided Speedball Art Products.

Due to block-printing using sharp and pointy tools, this workshop will be available for 13+ only. The artist takes no responsibility for injury that may occur during workshop. All participants must sign waiver available at venue (under 18 must have parent signature).

Limited to 10 people per workshop time slot.

Not ready to use sharp and pointy tools? No problem. Check out our other all-ages activity:
