Hey Fraser Valley! Welcome to the FVRD WildSafeBC Culture Days Hub.

Nature and wildlife are often prominent themes in much of BC’s art and culture. Join the FVRD WildSafeBC Community Coordinator as she highlights the important connection between both nature and wildlife and our local arts and culture. By understanding what local wildlife needs to survive and how we can manage wildlife attractants to reduce conflict, we can better protect our local wildlife and their habitats so they can provide inspiration for arts and culture in BC for many generations to come!

WildsafeBC Fraser Valley will be hosting events as part of the BC Goes Wild weekend on September 27 & 28. These events are also registered with the BC Culture Days celebrations. Join us at the Chilliwack Community Forest or East sector Lands in Harrison/Agassiz (Sept. 27), or find our event booth at the Farmer's Market in Mission during the Mission Culture Days celebrations (Sept. 28). There are three opportunities to attend a bear spray workshop for free hands-on training using inert bear spray, but participants must sign up in advance! See event pages for more information.

If you have concerns regarding accessibility, please contact us to discuss.

See you there!

*Please note that the Hub location/address is not hosting any BC Goes Wild weekend events; see individual event pages for location information
