Event Hub
Location
Regina
1868 Scarth Street
Regina, SK
Join us for a Cultural Journey Through Azerbaijan during Saskatchewan Culture Days! Our hub will offer a variety of free, family-friendly experiences designed to introduce visitors to Azerbaijani culture, traditions, stories, music, dance, and cuisine.
Participants can enjoy Azerbaijani Storytime featuring traditional fairy tales, crafts, songs, and interactive activities for children. Visitors of all ages are invited to take part in our Rhythm of Azerbaijan Dance Workshop, where they will learn basic Azerbaijani dance movements, discover the cultural significance of traditional dances, and enjoy performances by AzCAR's children's and adult dance groups.
Our signature event, Celebrate Azerbaijan: Cultural Festival, will feature interactive cultural stations where visitors can explore Azerbaijani traditions through dance, games, crafts, cultural displays, henna art, photo opportunities, and samples of traditional foods and beverages. Guests will receive a cultural passport and collect stamps as they journey through different experiences.
The hub is designed to be welcoming, interactive, and accessible to all ages, providing opportunities for cultural learning, community connection, and hands-on participation. Whether you are discovering Azerbaijan for the first time or reconnecting with your own cultural heritage, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
