Doors Open Day at LCSC will offer a variety of activities! The feature is tours of the artefact storage barn and the Rendell House, the first timber-framed house built in Lloydminster.
The main event is Saturday, September 28, 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Other activities include:
10:00AM-11:00PM
-smudging of the permanent rock garden with members of the Lloydminster Native Friendship Centre, and First Nations student drummers with the Lloydminster Public School Division.
10:00AM-2:00PM-creating paper dolls along with the exhibit 'Paper Dolls' by Pat Grayson; creating unique gratitude journals; creating individual mandalas; artist led water colour painting featuring the two provincial flowers: Alberta Rose and Saskatchewan Prairie Lily; ceramics painting with Art Soul Life Creative Studio;
The opening of the ‘Discovery Art Show’, an exhibit consisting entirely of artwork made by Lloydminster and area residents.
Parking is limited in the front parking lot. Parking is available along 45th avenue East of the building.
