This Year the South Simcoe Arts Council is offering 2 Free to view art exhibitions and 1 community mural painting session! come join us and experiance Arts on Main- An arts exhibition held all around New Tecumseth. Local businesses lend their windows to the Arts, and display works in their windows for pedestrians to walk and view! Brochures for the walking tour will be provided. This event takes place in Alliston, Totttenham, and Beeton.

The South Simcoe Arts Council and the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury present The Holland Marsh Centennial Art Exhibition! it will be on display at the Bradford library, free to view and open to the public. This exhibition will honour the Holland Marsh for its 100th birthday!

Lastly we will have a Mural Project hosted by SSAC Member Artist Lisa Rosati at 41 Victoria St. E in Alliston, ON This mural, an act of art in the spirit of reconciliation, recognizes our connection to each other and to the land. The design by SSAC artist Lisa Rosati depicts animals representing the seven clans of the Anishanaabe people whose traditional territory includes Simcoe County.

The Ojibwe word 'gidinawendimin' means we are all related.
