The Thunder Bay Museum is excited to take part in Culture Days 2020!

With the many changes this year, our programming has also changed. You can expect a variety of events happening at the Museum this year which are listed below:

1. BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR - Have you ever wanted to take a look at what lies behind the scenes at the Thunder Bay Museum? Now is your chance for an exclusive look at our collection! Throughout the month of October we will be posting stories/highlights to our Facebook and Instagram pages of our collection. To view these follow us at www.facebook.com/ThunderBayMuseum and @ThunderBayMuseum on Instagram.

2. PWYC ADMISSION DAYS - For October 6th, 13th, and 20th we are offering Pay What You Can (PWYC) admission to the Museum.

3. MUSEUM ODDITIES LECTURE - Have you ever wondered what bizarre artifacts we might have in our collection? Artifacts such as a black jack, locks of hair, or a paper mache head? Tune into our Museum Oddities Lecture to find out what these items are! (date TBA)

4. SHOW US YOUR COLLECTION - We want to hear from you! As a Museum we have a large collection of many artifacts and items. What types of collections do you have at home? What are your favourite items in that collection? Send us photos and of your collection and let us know how/why you started. Photos can be sent to us via direct messages on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

FREE PARKING is available to the right side of our building which is located at 425 Donald Street East. Our building is FULLY ACCESSIBLE including an access ramp to our entrance, an elevator, and accessible washroom available on the first floor. As per Health Unit guidelines, MASKS ARE MANDATORY. Upon entry you will also be required to sanitize your hands at our station setup in the lobby.
