Join us for an exciting day of creativity and community at the Orillia Recreation Centre’s outside courtyard from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM! This year, Orillia’s leading arts organizations have come together to offer a dynamic blend of group and individual projects, celebrating the vibrant cultural landscape of our city.
Group Project: Postcards to the Future
PostCards to the Future is a community art collaboration for Culture Days. Please join us to reflect, share, write and draw! We’re building a colossal tree and each leaf is a postcard that carries an idea or image created by you! Share your vision for the future – what do you dream about? – what do you hope for? – what do you want for yourself? – What do you want for future generations?
This event is a partnered event brought to you by Arts Orillia, the City of Orillia, Georgian College, the Orillia and Area Black Community Association, the Orillia and District Arts Council (ODAC), the Orillia Museum of Art & History (OMAH), and the Orillia Native Women's Group.
Individual Projects
Explore a variety of individual art projects hosted by Orillia’s partner arts and culture organizations. Whether you’re interested in painting, music, dancing or digital arts, there’s something for everyone. Engage with local artists, learn new techniques, and express your own creativity through hands-on activities and workshops.
