Join us for this free Culture Days event and create alongside local artist Julia Martens in an environment where you can try your hand at watercolour artwork, ask her questions, and watch as she creates her own nature study! This Free outdoor workshop is sponsored by the Abbotsford Arts Council and City of Abbotsford.
Artist Bio: Julia Martens is an artist and illustrator from the Fraser Valley inspired by the natural world around her as well as artworks of the past. Natural history and discovery play a huge part in her process and she strives to emulate the nostalgia of childhood and eras lost gone in her illustrations and paintings. In each of her artworks, she aims to tell you a story. Martens works in all mediums, including oils, graphite, inks, and watercolours.
