Thompson-Nicola Regional Library

The Thompson-Nicola Regional Library has been dedicated to meeting the lifelong learning, reading and informational needs of TNRD residents for almost 50 years. By providing resources that enrich, educate and empower, we help make this the best region in British Columbia to live, work and play.

We strive to be a leader in celebrating literacy and transforming lives through knowledge and information. We value customer service, intellectual freedom, education, lifelong learning, equity, respect and innovation.

By the numbers:

The Thompson-Nicola Regional Library serves a population of 143,680 in 11 municipalities and 10 electoral areas.

The library system covers a geographic area of over 45,000 square kilometers.

13 library branches and a mobile library service check out over 1 million items each year.
