About
This year, in conjunction with Culture Days 2023, PE&F 2023 is back as an in-person event, and once again, we welcome back vendors and workshop instructors and open our museum to the public on Saturday, October 14. We have a full day of events on the schedule, including workshops, live demos and printing experiences for all ages. Watch George Walker tames the Linotype, the Eighth Wonder of the World.
The Baker’s Devil Bakery will be holding a pop-up bake sale, with proceeds going to the Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families, a non-profit organization in Oakville. Let’s indulge in delicious treats while helping them raise funds for a worthy cause.

Organizer
Howard Iron Works Printing Museum & Restoration
The museum holds our private collection of printing machines and artifacts, representing important historical moments and technological changes throughout the ages. Intended as a way to give back to the printing industry, the historical and restoration angles also attract groups other than printers, including automobile clubs and other community-based groups such as the Army Cadets, Girl Guides and folks from retirement homes.
The museum is set up as a not-for-profit endeavour and carries our ultimate philanthropic wishes to raise funds for local non-religious or political causes. One such organization we have supported since 2018 is the Lighthouse For Grieving Children and Families, located in Oakville.
