About

We invite you to participate in a Nuit Blanche Community Art Project, the Wychwood Links Project! We are looking for community members to share and to create a one-of-a-kind public art piece on display during Nuit Blanche 2024 at Wychwood Barns.

The aim of our project is to bring together the thoughts and sentiments shared by community members living in the Wychwood neighborhood and beyond, inspiring a sense of closeness and familiarity.

A physical paper chain will be hung across the Barn doors opening on to the Christie Courtyard. You will write a message on a chain link that will be added to the endless looping chain. We ask you to consider what community means to you, aspirations for the community for the next 5 years, and what Wychwood means to you. Write your story on colourful paper and watch the project grow and change during the evening of Nuit Blanche.

The project will run from mid-July to the end of September and will be publicly displayed on October 5 at Wychwood Barns – a major institution for Nuit Blanche 2024.

Reach out to [email protected] for more information. Participate by creating a Link between July 30 - September 30, and join us on October 5th to view the completed project.
