About

Join the Credit Valley Artisans at the Helson Gallery for a series of life drawing sessions. A clothed model will be present for the first session on September 30th. The following sessions will have the artisans acting as models.

Don't miss this amazing opportunity to practice your life drawing skills while working alongside the Credit Valley Artisans!

To ensure participant safety, lifedrawing sessions will be open to a limited number of participants. Registration is required. Large tables will be set up with spacing in place to ensure appropriate distancing of participants. We ask that participants wear a mask and respect physical distancing in the Helson Gallery.

Participants must bring their own materials - dry media only.

The Town of Halton Hills is taking a careful and phased approach to reopening facilities and services. While we establish a new normal, an added layer of health and safety measures is required to ensure the safety of residents, employees and visitors. In an effort to provide ongoing protection, a new COVID-19 screening protocol is in effect and mandatory for the public and staff when entering Town facilities, including the Halton Hills Cultural Centre and the Helson Gallery.

Organizer

Credit Valley Artisans & the Helson Gallery, Town of Halton Hills

The “Credit Valley Artisans” (CVA) formed in 1975 when Halton Hill's Recreation & Parks Department offered to rent them a small Cottage located in Cedarvale Park in Georgetown as a place where they could join into one permanent association. Since then, four groups, namely the Heritage Hand Weavers and Spinners, the Palette and Pencil Guild, the Potters and Sculptors Guild, and the Stained Glass Artisans have worked together under one roof. Throughout the year, the CVA organizes art classes and workshops for the Halton Hills' community, and holds annual Sales at the Cedarvale Cottage.
