About

Bring your camera and your questions to this interactive workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to use their film SLR cameras in a more confident way, and also discover information on basic photographic principles, as well as film developing and darkroom techniques. Live demos will be happening throughout the workshop. Dress for the weather as this event will be held outdoors, and bring your camera manuals if you have access to them. This workshop is open to all ages and ability levels.

Organizer

August Bramhoff

I am a Photographer who works with film in their everyday art practice. Starting with street photography while in my teens, I have produced work for local bands, performers, and musicians. For eight years I taught classes in darkroom practices through the Vancouver Parks Board for both youth and adults. Most recently a body of my work was exhibited at the East Vancouver Cultural Centre.
