*****
Canadian Embroiderers' Guild
It is the philosophy of the Guild that there are no limits to the materials used in modern embroidery and that embroidery is neither confined to fabrics alone, nor limited to surface decoration.
We believe that embroidery is a fine art form and that there is no one way to create art, and no single best way to work with fabric.

For the Love of Art
FTLA recognizes the need to provide a means of inclusive and diversity, an outreach program for arts of all media. Our Mission: To unite the arts to neighbourhoods we serve. To engage and bring awareness of the arts within the local community. Our Goal: To develop a sustainable social enterprise which transforms neglected urban buildings into an artisans' hub, uniting the arts and the community. Our Vision: To enrich the artisan's hub with common spaces, shared resources, marketing, events and administration in an inclusive atmosphere to the benefit of the neighbourhood. We will provide programming and education in the arts, create employment for diverse citizens and will be accessible to people of all abilities, ages and background. For the Love of Art will encourage collaboration for public awareness and broadening participation in arts and culture.
