About
Welcome to my Open Studio Printmaking Activity on Saturday Oct 12th!
Come and join us for a creative and hands-on exploration of printmaking!
My studio will be open for two engaging sessions:
• Morning Session: Come any time between 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM – Experience the fun of foam printing! This relief technique is perfect for making bold, graphic prints. You’ll need about 20 minutes to design and produce your own artwork. (Studio closes for lunch at 12:30)
• Afternoon Session: Come anytime between 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM – Discover Tetrapak printmaking. This intaglio method utilizes repurposed materials to produce intricate and dynamic prints. You will need around 30 minutes to bring your print idea to life. (Studio will close at 3:45pm)
The activities are designed for almost all ages 5-95. Please note children must be accompanied by their responsible adult. There rules for the studio, like no running.
We hope you enjoy the process and leave with a one-of-a-kind print that showcases your creativity. Happy printing as part of Ontario Culture Days!
*Please note, while there is a sink available for cleaning up, there is no bathroom access within the studio. I have work aprons to accommodate 10 people at a time, but wearing clothes that can get ink (that might not wash out) is better.
